Partnership Brings Vision Care to Families

Trying on glasses and keeping kids engaged at Warby Parker
In May, the Children’s Museum of Manhattan partnered with Warby Parker to provide free, essential vision care to the mothers and children at our UWS family shelter.
This collaboration was created to diagnose early detection of vision issues and improve the quality of life for our young families. Warby Parker generously offered free comprehensive eye exams and prescription glasses, with licensed optometrists conducting thorough vision screenings and eye health evaluations.
Attendees selected frames and received prescription glasses at no cost. Some learned for the first time they needed corrective lenses. Following the visit, families returned home for a warm dinner and Mother’s Day art activities.
