Volunteer Spotlight: Troutman Pepper

October 11, 2022

Thank you to Troutman Pepper’s New York office for choosing Homeward Upper West Side for a volunteer day.

Homeward NYC staff with five people and clothing racks filled with clothes

Employees from the law firm purchased and assembled bookcases for our updated children’s library. Troutman Pepper provided an assortment of children’s books in English and Spanish, children’s fidget toys and tangle toys, and children’s wiggle seats for the library.

The team also provided items for our new free clothing boutique for residents. Employees purchased a clothing rack, shoe racks, hangers, garment bags, and a clothes steamer for the boutique.

The boutique offers all types of clothing, including interview clothes for the young mothers, and children’s clothing for ages newborn to seven.

Footwear and winter items are still needed. Learn more about donating items or volunteering at homeward.nyc/volunteer.
